BELFAIR BYPASS

I know… we’ve been waiting a long time for this. I have lived here 20 years and still, it’s a little like Kansas – you have to drive through it to get anywhere. But this year DOT says it’s important to know the project is moving forward. DOT has hired Parametrix to begin the design stage. There are still many issues to resolve and DOT will hold public meetings this spring in Belfair.

Doug Adamson, WSDOT spokesman, indicated the project is very complicated and not just as simple as going in and paving. Construction is set to begin summer of 2022 and completed in 2025 or 2026. To learn more about the project, contact Adamson at 360-357-2716 or adamsod@wsdot.wa.gov.
